Well I know I posted 3 posts already for Easter but I guess I'm going to have one more! I made this cheesecake for Easter with my family. Adam, my mom, my dad and I all loved it. My sister's on the other hand where not crazy about it but they were never really big fans of cheesecake to begin with. So, I guess I can't label this cheesecake as being "the best cheesecake ever, even those who don't like cheesecake will love it!" ;) I'll just have to keep trying for it then!
I think it's been long over due that I do another seafood recipe. This one turned out pretty well and I'm excited to share it with you. It's also kind of fitting because today I gave my two weeks notice to my current job and this summer I will be moving to Miami, FL! Where I'm sure there will be a plethora of fresh seafood to be enjoyed!
I'm basically doing a post on this recipe just to separate it from the main dish that I actually made this with this past weekend. I figured instead of doing one really long post that's pretty much a whole meal with several recipes that I would break it down and do links to each other instead.
A longgggg time ago some of Adam's classmates and fellow AT friends asked if I could do a blog on how to start a batch of Kombucha. Well I'm finally getting around to it and if you ask me this is a perfect time to start it because who after all wouldn't want to start making a nice refreshing drink for summer! For those of you who loved science class in school and all the cool but disgusting experiments that it involved then you will love this. For those who freak out about mold, slime or all things "germs"...well then you might have a little more difficulty with this. I promise though that your gut biota will love it! ;)
So someway or another I never manage to stick to the schedule that I want to keep but I guess that's life…unpredictable. Unlike most holidays, I'm still posting before Easter Sunday actually occurs. I guess that is okay, right!? I had a lot of fun making this last Easter treat of the season. I did save (what I thought was) the best for last!
Well Tuesday was just one of those days where nothing could go right. Adam was working the entire evening and so I was left to fend for myself. Which typically is fine, and I even had a plan… Stop at the mall on the way home from work, make some dinner upon getting home, and then turn on some CSI and begin writing my second Easter blog.
