I don't know about you, but I just had a long and exhausting weekend. Don't get me wrong, it was fantastic! But that whole springing forward thing really has me outta whack! As some of you may know, Adam, I, and our girl, Zephyr, have recently joined the Michigan Search and Rescue. This past weekend they held a camp from Thursday evening through Sunday afternoon.
I'm pretty sure that I need to buy a lottery ticket. We've had two snow days in the past week. One today and one last week Thursday and both those days were my days off from work.
Score!
Here it is the recipe that goes with the amazing yuca pizza crust that was posted last week. Say "Hello" to Chicken BLT Pizza! This is like the pizza of ultimate pizzas! I seriously don't think I've ever put so much effort into making a pizza. However, the results where a-maz-ing. The whole idea behind this pizza was to make a copy cat of California Pizza's 'California Club' pizza. So, I went on their website and thank goodness for me they had all the ingredients listed of what was on the pizza so from there it was pretty easy. I do have to say though that their rendition turns out much more aesthetically pleasing. Waaaaaaah! :[ Now that that's out of my system let me state that it is the taste that matters!
Alright all, so here I am super excited! For some reason when I have completely spontaneous blog posts I feel that those are the ones that turn out the best. I woke up this morning and I was like wow I really need to do a post. It's Friday already and I've only done one so far this week (which is just not okay!). So, being morning, being hungry, being in the mood for eggs but not scrambled eggs, and with a little guidance from Pinterest I came up with poached eggs on hash browns.
I am so excited for this week. I spent the entire weekend working on 4 blog posts! Three of which are Easter related and that I will feature this week for the Easter Holiday. All of the posts that I will do this week are new for me so I was very exited to try them out and see how it went! I thought it would be fitting to start with a natural recipe for dying the eggs.
Just because we don't eat gluten doesn't mean that we still can't have sandwich type foods. Sandwiches are so easy to have for lunch or dinner and some people eat them daily. In most cases you can simply replace the bread with some lettuce.
