This homemade ice cream recipe was a must.  It was Sunday afternoon and it was very very hot and muggy like it has been for what feels like forever now.  I also live in one of those homes where the parents like to save money and never turn on the AC!  ;)  I came across this recipe on Facebook and immediately was like, "oh I have to click on this and see what it entails." Well since I'm posting it...I certainly didn't mind any of the ingredients!  Also, it's one of those ice cream recipes where you don't need an ice cream maker or have to shake it in a ball all day long.

Hey everyone!  I haven't posted anything this week because I am so excited that my parents Farm Share starts this week!  I would like to share with you a blog post from Adam's blog (Eat. Run. Rehabilitate.) and actually it was a guest post for his blog... Well Adam just walked in the door and I've been home for about an hour now logged into my computer and I still didn't even have a single word written for this post.  Guess I'm just feeling quiet inside and I'm finding Facebook to be overly distracting today.  Usually it doesn't get too much attention from me anymore but I liked what I saw today.

Well would ya listen to that?  Shhhhhhhhhh  It's quiet… only the tv and a lawn mower in the background, everything else is quiet.  That's a rarity since I've been back home living with the familia!  The girls have gone to the library and as for mom and dad...well who knows but they disappeared somewhere as well.  It's just me and the dog for a few precious minutes!  So, I better type fast!  ;)

I have been wanting to do this post F-O-R-E-V-E-R!!  Like, you guys have no idea.  I have been longing to do something with sun dried tomatoes just because I think they are going to be my new fetish along with a cold rice or pasta salad.  I have such a bad thing for sun dried tomatoes that I thought it'd be fun for me to make them myself!  Only to find out that they have to be in the oven for like oodles of hours…and I just can't commit myself to that right now.
