I have no idea what happened to me but the week just got away from me! I made this recipe on Sunday fully intending to have it posted on Tuesday and then the next thing I know it's Wednesday! I wasn't feeling so good on Wednesday afternoon either so I didn't get it written then. So, here I am sitting in a truck after finishing my book a day routine (well almost) and decided I'd try writing it up on an iPad as I have nothing but time sitting out here watching a T-Hanger being built.
This is the last for the morel mushroom recipes that I've tried this year. I've heard from several people that this is their favorite way of adding morels to a meal. Partially because you can freeze the morels depending on if you have too much to be able to eat fresh and the other part is because it's just pure deliciousness. Especially if you dip it in some garlic butter sauce! ;) Which just happens to be a favorite to do with any pizza with my family.
Here's another Morel recipe for all those Morel lovers out there! It takes a little bit of effort and patience to get them this good but after taking the time to hunt for them this is nothing. I also found to really crank these puppies out it worked well to team up with another person.
This was a first… hunting for Morels! My grandpa dropped some off earlier in the week that I used for a recipe already but my aunt insisted that until you went through the hunting of morels you just couldn't appreciate them to the fullest. Which turns out to be true! Besides the fact that they almost completely blend in or hide under other vegetation there is the horrors of all the prickly plants!
For those of you that live in morel country I'm sure by now you know that it is morel season! I've heard of morels and have known that for years every spring people like my grandpa go in hunt of the rare short seasoned mushrooms. I've never eaten them myself due to not being a big fan of mushrooms but this year was going to be different!
Howdy Readers, Adam here! I don't make too many posts here on A Dash of Delish but I wanted to take the time to let you all know why there hasn't been many posts from us this past week. The reason is as you may have guessed is that we are moving! Not the web-host or domain but our actual physical location is moving! It is all my fault because I decided to go on for more schooling to get my doctoral degree. Therefore, I apologize and we will get back to working on recipes and ideas to share with you all as soon as possible.
In the meantime I am just going to share a few ideas with you all for tips on how/what to eat when you are busy, on the go, and your normal schedule is affray.

This whole idea was Adam's!! Woohoo he can do more than Athletic Training! ;) We were at the grocery store one day and I wanted to get some Mahi Mahi and he wanted to get some tiny shrimp. Then one day we didn't have leftovers for lunch so he decided to make us a salad and made up some salad dressing to go along with it as well.
