Howdy Readers, Adam here! I don't make too many posts here on A Dash of Delish but I wanted to take the time to let you all know why there hasn't been many posts from us this past week. The reason is as you may have guessed is that we are moving! Not the web-host or domain but our actual physical location is moving! It is all my fault because I decided to go on for more schooling to get my doctoral degree. Therefore, I apologize and we will get back to working on recipes and ideas to share with you all as soon as possible.

In the meantime I am just going to share a few ideas with you all for tips on how/what to eat when you are busy, on the go, and your normal schedule is affray.

1) Try to keep a plethora of decent snacks around

The easier it is to access snacks like these the better chance you will have of getting some real nutrients in you, suppressing hunger pangs, and avoiding fast food binges.

2) If you have to eat out try to dine at a sit-down restaurant.

You will have a much easier time finding legitimate food at sit-down restaurant. Don't get me wrong there is still plenty of crapola made with a bunch of garbage. However, it is pretty easy to get a nice big omelet filled with veggies and meat, coffee, and hold the toast.

3) If you absolutely have no snacks or time to sit-down and dine and find yourself resorting to fast-food then try some of these tips.

Hold the bun. Avoid the soda. Skip anything deep-fried in industrial seed/vegetable/soy oils. Check for alternative mediums when it comes to fast food. An example of this might be a place like Noodles & Company where you can get decent salads or alternative dishes that use gluten-free noodles.

These are just a few of the things that we have tried to focus on during busier times over the last few months. I also give the advice to eat with care because once you break the chain of eating healthy and let your proverbial guard down it becomes very easy to resort back to poor dietary habits. Despite a potential for increased time demands and a bit of stress to eat a little healthier it may help you feel better during busier times which overall could result in less stress overall.

I hope these tips can help you all a little bit and we can't wait to get back to regular posting! Enjoy!
