Breaded Morel Mushrooms - GF

Here's another Morel recipe for all those Morel lovers out there! It takes a little bit of effort and patience to get them this good but after taking the time to hunt for them this is nothing.  I also found to really crank these puppies out it worked well to team up with another person.

I won't go on and on and on today because I am tired!  I am currently sitting in a truck all day for my job just reading and doing pretty much whatever I want but with an hour drive to get there and an hour back and the heat added in...oh boy it took it's toll on me. ;)  Adam on the other hand doesn't start work until next week and he enjoys eating these daily for his lunch!

INGREDIENTS:
METHOD:
  1. I purposely didn't put any amounts to the ingredients above because there are no exact measurements.
  2. Rinse the morels very very well and place them on a paper towel.
  3. Heat the butter on medium heat in a pan on the stove to prepare for frying.
  4. In a bowl whip up an egg or two.
  5. In a zip lock bag place about a cup of flour to start with.
  6. Dip the Morels in the egg then place several at a time in the zip lock bag.  Seal it and then shake.
  7. Lightly shake off the Morels again before placing in the pan with hot butter.
  8. Fry until golden brown.
  9. Remove and eat while warm.
  10. Enjoy!

  1. For a little more zip, you can add your favorite mustard to the egg wash! ;)
